Kirsten’s organ career started in 1980, when at the age of 16 she was asked to step into the position of organist and choir director at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Richmond Hill, Ontario. In 1994, she moved to Pickering and has been playing organ and piano at Peace Lutheran Church ever since. Kirsten, a retired high school mathematics teacher, also enjoys travelling by bicycle, working with The Olive Branch for Children, upcycling and spending time with her family. Kirsten is a firm believer that music “Heals the heart and makes it whole, flows from heaven to the soul”.
